Inspiration
At Catena, we strive to integrate sustainability into everything we do, both big and small. A current project is the Vrangelsro 5:4 property in Halmstad, where we are contributing to biodiversity through simple yet effective methods.
At the Vrangelsro 5:4 property in Halmstad, we have cleaned and enhanced the pond by adding a frog habitat and two new fountains. Around the pond, we have also created a woodchip walking path, making the area accessible to both employees and visitors.
To support local wildlife, we have installed insect hotels, birdhouses, and beehives for pollination and honey production. Additionally, we have sown meadow flowers over an area of approximately 1,000 square meters, providing a thriving environment for small animals and insects.
Initiatives like this bring us closer to our goal of being net positive in terms of biodiversity across our property portfolio by 2030. You can read more about Catena’s sustainability goals here.
