Energy efficiency with Oriola in Gothenburg

In 2018, Catena carried out a significant energy efficiency project at the Solsten 1:102 property in Gothenburg, where Oriola is a tenant. Through smart energy solutions, both environmental impact and operating costs were significantly reduced.

In 2018, Catena invested in the Solsten 1:102 property in Gothenburg, where Oriola is a tenant. By converting from district heating to geothermal energy and drilling 26 energy wells, they managed to reduce energy consumption by a remarkable 980,000 kWh per year. This results in an annual cost saving of approximately SEK 750,000 and an energy consumption that is 78 percent below the current requirements set by the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning, leading to significantly lower environmental impact. A win for both the environment and the economy!

Nothing has been left to chance in implementing these energy efficiency measures. Together with Oriola, we ensure that the facility has optimal energy solutions that fully meet the operational needs and are truly sustainable over time.
