Installation of charging points with DHL
In 2020, Catena and DHL launched a project to install 54 charging points in 12 properties across Sweden. Supported by Klimatklivet, these sustainable installations aim to reduce climate impact and promote new technologies.
In 2020, Catena initiated a project to install charging points together with DHL. A total of 12 of Catena's properties, from the north to the south of Sweden, have been identified as potential properties for a total of 54 charging points for DHL's company cars.
The charging stations are made of recycled aluminium and can charge up to 2x22 kW. From the charging stations it is possible to get statistics, schedule charging, change power and optimise and monitor electricity use. They can also be load balanced - for dynamic distribution of available power.
Each property is equipped with a 4G router with a SIM card installed to communicate with the charging posts via Wi-Fi. The project is being carried out in collaboration with Klimatklivet, which offers investment support for local and regional measures that reduce emissions of carbon dioxide and other gases that affect the climate. ‘It is important for us to be able to deliver solutions to our customers that favour Sweden's environmental goal of limiting climate impact, while contributing to the dissemination of new technology, market introduction, employment and better health.
