Ecolean develops and manufactures innovative packaging systems for beverages, dairy products and liquid foods. The company has a global reach and operations in some thirty countries, with China, Pakistan and Russia being its largest markets. Ecolean has now chosen to relocate its headquarters to Catena’s iconic property on Landskronavägen, the building designed in 1974 by Danish architects Bengt Blasberg and Henrik Jais-Nielsen and acquired by Catena in 2017.
Parts of the ground floor, first and second floor, as well as the entire sixth floor in the office section of the property have been adapted to accommodate Ecolean, corresponding to some 2,500 square metres of office space in total. The process of moving in will take place in two stages in January and April 2021.
“The property on Landskronavägen is situated close to our existing facilities and we see many advantages in being able to expand within these premises. The new offices, with Catena as the landlord, allow us to create a more suitable workplace than ever, while retaining the proximity to our core operations,” says Peter L Nilsson, CEO of Ecolean.
Tenants already established in this Catena property, which also houses industrial and warehouse premises, as well as Catena’s own head office, include Solid Försäkring, Brinova Fastigheter, Mantena Sverige, the Municipality of Helsingborg and Aerocar.
“We have carefully renovated the property concerned as new leases have been signed and we are very pleased to now also be able to welcome Ecolean as a tenant, bringing us back up to full activity throughout the property, just as when it was first built,” says Mikael Waldesten, Real Estate Manager at Catena.
