Catena's property Hyltena 1:102 won Logistics Establishment of the Year 2024 at the Logistics and Transport fair.
On 15 November, Catena's Hyltena 1:102 property was named Logistics Establishment of the Year 2024 by Dagens Logistik magazine. The award was presented during the Logistics and Transport fair in Gothenburg. We share the honour with Elgiganten Logistik AB.
Elgiganten's new ‘kitchen warehouse’ in Torsvik is an exciting establishment that scores highly on all criteria for the award: Bringing operations home to Sweden from the Czech Republic and creating new jobs at home feels timely and is a brave decision that has direct effects on both business and the climate, with shorter lead times and reduced transport emissions. The fact that Catena is aiming for both Breeam Excellent and, as the first warehouse in the Nordic region, WELL certification, where the work environment is in focus, is impressive and sets a new standard in the industry. Another plus is that the property was built in wood with details such as rainwater-flushed toilets and beehives. All in all, the establishment is well worth a first place!
