At Logistics Position Sunnanå, the level of activity continues to rise, with Scandinavian Cosmetics, Rechon Life Science and Padel Crew now moving into the last of the vacant premises in Catena’s recently constructed multi-tenant warehouse.

With its excellent location for logistics, just outside Malmö and adjacent to the E6 and E20 motorways, Logistics Position Sunnanå has become a hub for transport and goods flows. There is considerable interest in setting up operations at the site and three more tenants are moving into the multi-tenant warehouse recently constructed in the area.
Scandinavian Cosmetics, which is the Nordic region’s leading brand management company in skin and hair care, make-up and fragrances, has signed an eight-year lease with Catena for 7,300 square metres, pharmaceuticals company Rechon Life Science has signed a ten-year lease on 5,900 square metres and Padel Crew has signed an eight-year lease on 4,300 square metres. This means that both multi-tenant warehouse two buildings, with their total of 36,000 square metres of space and 10.5 metres of free ceiling height, have now been fully let. The new tenants are scheduled to move in by the first quarter of 2021.

Chefs Culinar, Svensk Cater, DS Smith, Lekia and DHL Supply Chain already have operations at Logistics Position Sunnanå. A new cargo facility is also under construction for DHL Express. Catena perceives considerable potential in continuing to develop the area – the detailed planning process for an additional 110,000 square metres of land is currently progress, offering opportunities for logistics premises totalling approximately 55,000 square metres.
