In connection with the detailed development plan in effect from December 2021, Catena signed a land transfer agreement concerning part of the Dansered 1:64 property. The surface area of the land covers 210,000 sq m in a top logistical location alongside route 40 by Landvetter airport in Härryda municipality.

On 15 March, Catena announced its first establishment in the area with Menigo Foodservice, one of Sweden’s leading food distributors, signing a lease for a newly constructed logistics facility of 42,250 sqm. Catena can now announce that MM-Sport, one of the Nordic region’s largest suppliers in the field of dietary supplements, has signed up for the next step in which a further logistics facility will be built close to Menigo. MM-Sport will rent a small part of the new facility, and Catena is confident that it can rent out the remaining space.

Summary

  • Step two of Logistics Position Landvetter covers a new logistics facility of 41,810 sq m, of which MM-Sport will rent 8,690 sqm.
  • The total investment is expected to amount to SEK 449 million with an estimated net operating income of SEK 29.7 million.
  • The contract period for MM-Sport is 10 years.
  • The property will be certified in line with BREEAM-SE 2017 ‘Excellent’ level.

Catena has strict sustainability requirements for Logistics Position Landvetter, and a range of initiatives are planned for aspects such as biodiversity in the area.

”I am pleased that we can already start the next step of Logistics Position Landvetter and welcome
MM-Sport as our tenant. The construction now taking place at short notice in the area shows the strength of Catena’s offer and how strong demand is for sustainable and modern logistical facilities in the right location,” notes Catena’s regional manager for Gothenburg, Jonas Arvidsson.

The construction will commence in autumn 2022 and MM-Sport is expected to move in during spring 2024.
